Ingredients Needed

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 225g / 8 oz Brie cheese
  • 60g / ¼ cup fruit preserves (apricot, raspberry, or your favourite)
  • 2 tbsp toasted nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

How To Make Air Fryer Brie Puff Pastry

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Set it to 190°C / 375°F.
  2. Assemble the pastry: Unroll the puff pastry on a flat surface. Place the Brie in the centre. No need to cut off the rind.
  3. Add toppings: Spoon the fruit preserves over the Brie and sprinkle the toasted nuts on top.
  4. Wrap the Brie: Bring the corners of the pastry up over the Brie and gather them at the top. Pinch the edges to seal completely.
  5. Make the egg wash: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush the egg wash over the entire pastry.
  6. Air fry the Brie: Carefully transfer the wrapped Brie into the air fryer basket. Air fry at 190°C / 375°F for 15–20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
  7. Cool and serve: Let it cool for 5 minutes before removing from the basket. Serve warm.

Recipe Tips

  • Use cold puff pastry: Keep the pastry chilled until you’re ready to use it. Warm pastry gets sticky and hard to fold.
  • Don’t remove the Brie rind: It helps the cheese hold its shape while melting and adds flavour.
  • Seal the edges well: Pinch the pastry tightly at the top to stop the filling from leaking out.
  • Don’t overfill with preserves: Too much jam can ooze out while cooking. A thin layer is enough.
  • Let it cool before serving: Wait 5 minutes after air frying so the cheese sets slightly and doesn’t spill everywhere.

How To Store Leftovers?

First, let the leftover Air Fryer Brie Puff Pastry cool to room temperature. Then, place it in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
